I was looking through my big box of pictures and came across this one of my big brother, two older cousins, and myself at Halloween. If I had to guess, it's probably 1985.

Hard Work...

Sometimes Hard Work Does NOT Pay Off!

Tuesday afternoon, my step-children and I spent the afternoon raking the leaves. Actually, I raked, Babygirl picked up the piles, and Little Man swept (I know, the roles are backwards). I raked, and raked, and raked. I switched hands, arms, and sides. And I raked more. I have been paying for it (oh, my back). To my dismay, this is what I awoke to on Wednesday morning:

Don't let the size fool you- there is a lot more yard there than what appears to be.

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Things I wish I could buy:

1. Scrap booking Supplies to get started on my grandparents 50th Anniversary (June 29) present.

2.Bare Minerals from QVC.

3. Baby Phat winter coat that I have been eyeing (cause I have went the past 2 winters w/o a winter coat).

4. Black Reebok Classics.

5. An anniversary present for the In-laws (today is their anniversary).

6. A great haircut.

7. Two pairs of jeans (they don't have to be expensive... I LOVE Wal-mart).

8. Three pairs of capris (again from Wal-mart or Target) for my trip to Disney.

9. A raspberry filled doughnut from Krispy Kreme.

10. DKNY Be Delicious Perfume.

11. My birth control pills (since I don't have a job anymore= no health coverage).

12. A Diet Dr. Pepper.

13. A nicer bike seat so I can start riding (I finally pulled it out of my mom's basement).
